SSA Design Services Mission Statement Design products and systems that meet the customer's requirements using various design tools and strategies, with focus on successful product launch. Experience Over 25 years of designing Microprocessors and microcontroller based systems in a wide variety of applications, including actual emulator design to support various microcontroller architectures. Designs include embedded systems and board level products. Thousands of lines of firmware designs in Assembler and C. Microcontrollers Specializing in Hitachi H8 and SH based design. Proprietary or legacy designs may be designed / redesigned based on experience with 8051, COP8, HC11, and HC05 Families of microconrollers. PLD & FPGA Altera, Xilinx and lattice implementation experience. languages: AlteraHDL, Verilog, and ABEL (minor experience in VHDL coding) using current tool chains. Simulation (post and / or pre-route) as required based on complexity of the design. ABEL Test Vectors, AHDL Vectors or Verilog Simulations. Displays Experience driving LEDs, Noritake VFDs (Graphics and character modules) and LCD Character modules. Implementation Designs will be implemented using the most recent tools with an emphasis on time-to-market, portability and reusability. Where possible C and C++ will be used for firmware. Altera HDL, ABEL and Verilog will be used to implement programmable logic, with ABEL and Verilog being the preferred for portability. When required contracts can be negotiated for "turn-key" solutions up to and including selecting and setting up contract manufacturing.
